I also didn't spend time preparing for WC's. Only mcq. -- Questions Not Seen: 341; Total Question Attempts: 1177

Ninja MCQ is the truth for BEC -- Becker is good, but I think my pass was due to Ninja.

This was my second attempt. I did not use Roger CPA questions at all this time because they are HORRID. I only used NINJA. What I will say is I focused mostly on sections I was struggling with. If you notice I spent 10.5 hours but only did 344 questions. I focused on the question and why it was wrong. I didn't do much MCQ while learning. I skipped it until the end. I typed out every question I got wrong and reviewed that the night before and day of the test. Didn't use this like I should have but all that matters is the passing score.

Used to use Becker, but the subscription ran out. Ninja MCQ with the notes is great. Don't underestimate the use of index cards - I re-write wrong questions or anything I'm confused on. After doing this for a few weeks, you have accumulated a nice little bunch of cards you can carry around and review knowing that they were all areas/questions you once were unsure about.

Loved the NINJA MCQ product. I was trending at 61% for 59 hours and was able to pass the FAR exam with a 79. I like to print the questions out and make a review book from the explanations. Much better than all the other MCQ options out there!

I feel that I owe this post to Jeff. I got my score back a few weeks ago for AUD and I'm done (with the tests and still dealing with getting certified).

AUD:

Average: 71
Trending: 99.5
Actual: 83
Total Question Attempts: 2900
Unseen Questions: 0
Time Spent: 94 hours

After about 1500 questions I kept focusing on the "missed last seen and problem questions"

REG:

Average: 68
Trending: 71.3
Actual: 75
Total Question Attempts: 2060
Unseen Questions: 561
Time Spent: 81 hours

I feel very lucky I passed REG. I was dreading another 74 or 73.

A note about the time, I would say the actual was probably 15 hours less for each as I walked away from the computer a lot.

A big thank you goes out to Jeff for setting up this testing software. It was extremely helpful and I'm very grateful it was affordable considering that I was not getting reimbursed for any of these expenses. I have and will continue to send everyone I can your way.

Hey guys I just purchased Ninja MCQ for the first time to help with REG. Is my trending score the score that is displayed next to my total hours right on the dashboard?

@notdubs, yes that is the trending score. You can check more accurate score (with the decimal point) on the progress report page. I too purchased ninja mcq recently. So far, I feel like ninja mcqs are more difficult than wiley test bank. I don't know... Does this mean I do not know the material well? I am studying for BEC now.

^ Many people have said the NINJA BEC MCQ are brutal compared to others.

I found that the ninja mcq are pretty difficult. Ive been using Becker primarily. Many of the questions for reg are literally word for word from becker. I like ninja though because it has touched on some topics I have never seen in Becker. My trending is score is about a 75 now, but my first time though I did 100 questions with a broken mouse that was skipping a question or two every time I clicked and ended with a score of a 50. Since then most of my scores around in the high 70s.

Well - we both get our questions (I assume) from the same source - the AICPA, so they're word for word from the AICPA - just to clarify :)

Well I studied with Becker for all of my exams but just started using Ninja MCQ due to having failed Audit twice. I'm also on ADD medication now since I noticed towards the end of AUD and FAR (Especially FAR class) that I was losing focus majorly and by the end, I was too wiped to move forward.

Total Questions: 1597
Questions Not Answered Correctly: 721
Questions Not Seen: 558
Total Question Attempts: 1603

I've also been going back and redoing some becker MC's since they seem to be slightly tougher. Although, Becker doesn't seem to have the same level of difficulty as the exam which I think may be throwing me off. I really don't want to have to take Audit again after next Wednesday (July 8th). I've already given this exam a year of my life.

I know there is no correlation between Trending and Actual but what would be a good target Trending Score so I can feel better. Right now Im in the upper 60s which is terrible

This is somewhat related, but can anyone share how they were trending when they started NINJA MCQ & their progress as the weeks went on?

You should target mid-80s as a goal for Trending.

Yes, Jeff – that's certainly my aim. Curious though to see the rate of the user average improvement week to week as studying elongates.
